SAS & AAA Alumni Association Make Magic Happen for the SAS & AAA Scholarship Fund

“Established during the 1988-89 school year, School for Advanced Studies (SAS) and Academy for Advanced Academics (AAA) established in 2009, offer full-time dual enrollment for high school students. SAS students in this M-DCPS program complete their last two years of high school while attending Miami Dade College and, in almost all cases, graduate with both a high school and Associate in Arts degree. SAS is located at five MDC campuses (Homestead, Kendall, North, West, and Wolfson). Students enrolled in the AAA program complete their last two years of high school while attending Florida International University.

 

Most recently, SAS was ranked as the top high school in Florida and #3 in the country by U.S. News and World Report. SAS has also received accolades as one of the best schools in the U.S. by the Washington Post, GreatSchools.org, and Niche.

 

One hundred percent of SAS and AAA students graduate and continue their academic studies at top colleges and universities throughout the nation and beyond.

 

The newly established SAS & AAA Alumni Association supports graduates from all 6 campuses and is diligently working on developing a substantial scholarship fund to reward qualified seniors!
