Mom & Pop Grant update:

Need Help with Grant Writing Services?

The Mom and Pop Grant season is starting to wind down with the applications of districts 1, 8 and 12 no longer available. Districts 3, 5, 6, 10, and 11 have yet to open their application process.

More information is available on the County’s site but here’s a brief breakdown:

District 1—Chairman Oliver G. Gilbert, III 

• Applications no longer available.
• Completed applications will be accepted from Thursday, February 16th – Friday, February 24th by 4:00 pm
• Hand deliver the application in a sealed envelope to the District office located at 17988 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056

District 2—Marleine Bastien

• Awarding up to $7,500 per small business.
• Applications available online or in-person February 13, 2023 through February 24, 2023
• Completed application packages will be accepted from February 27th – March 3rd by 4:00pm
• Hand deliver completed application to District Office located at
  915 NE 125th Street Suite 2A, Miami, FL 33161

District 4—Commissioner Micky Steinberg

• Grant amounts undisclosed.
• Original applications accepted: February 6, 2023 through 12 noon, February 24, 2023
